Materials and Construction:

* Motor housing, shaft and fasteners constructed of stainless steel
* Motor upper cover and volute constructed of cast-iron treated with corrosion resistant paint.
* Motor with built in overload protection.
* Double mechanical seals with secondary lip seal; mechanical seals run in a separate oil-filled compartment, lip seal design prevents corrosives and solids infiltrating primary sealing unit.
* Two-vane waste-handling impeller fitted with a hardened grinding plate.
